Ask for a signature.Keep the signed copy.

Send a document for signature and mark the places that need attention. The recipient reads and confirms it with their passkey, then both sides keep the sealed signed copy and its verification record.

  1. Place

You put the fields where they belong

Signature, initials, date, the blank the guarantor has to complete. You put them on the page itself rather than in a form beside it, so the signer is answering the document, and so a mark that appears on the contract was placed there by whoever drafted it.

  2. Bind

You know it was them, not their inbox

The signature is confirmed with a passkey on the signer's own device, tied back to the identity they proved with their NIN and their face. There is no shared link that works for whoever opens it.

  3. Prove

You hand the signed copy to anybody who asks

A court, a regulator, the other side's lawyer. They check the file against itself, without an account, without asking you, and without asking us. Your evidence does not depend on us still being here.

A scanned signature proves that somebody had a scanner.

What kind
An advanced electronic signature, sealed into the PDF with a trusted timestamp from a time authority.
What binds it
A passkey on the signer's own device, signing this document's hash and no other.
Where it stands
Admissible under the Evidence Act sections 84 and 93, and checkable by anyone without us.

The detail

What does the signer's passkey actually sign?
Not a login prompt. The challenge their device signs is built from the hash of this exact document, this agreement, and their position on it. That is the whole difference between proving somebody was in a session and proving somebody approved this page. Their device asks for a face, a fingerprint or a PIN before it will produce it, so what is recorded is a deliberate act rather than a phone being unlocked nearby.
How strong is the evidence, honestly?
Every signature records its own tier rather than leaving you to assume. The one that ships today is bound to the signer's own key: a third party holding the public key can confirm that authenticator approved that document, without trusting us at all. The fall-back tier, for a signer with no passkey, is platform-attested, where we are the witness. A signer who has a passkey cannot quietly land in the weaker tier.
Will the PDF still verify in ten years, when the certificate has expired?
That is what the long-term validation format is for. The seal carries the timestamp and the validation material inside the file, so a checker in 2036 can establish that the signature was valid when it was made rather than finding an expired certificate and giving up.
Who holds the key that seals it?
The seal is applied by a key held in a hardware security module, and never in the memory of a server. For an organisation that needs its own, it can be an organisation-controlled key rather than ours.
Can two people sign, or a witness?
Yes. Signers, witnesses, delegates who may act for a signer without ever signing, and viewers who only read. Each mark is the same ceremony underneath whether it renders as a signature, initials or a printed name. Every one of them is minuted with the person and the time.
What does the other side's lawyer actually do to check it?
Opens our verifier, chooses the file, and reads the answer. The file never leaves their machine: their own browser computes the hash and only that is sent. No account, no request to you, and no request to us for anything beyond the check itself.

The limit

An electronic signature is not a notarisation. It proves who signed, when, and that the wording has not moved since. Keepable can carry a witness through the same ceremony, but where Nigerian law needs a deed stamped or registered, that still happens the way it always did, and we would rather say so here than let you find out at the registry.
